Verdè is the Italian word for green. The concept of being green inspires every facet of Verdès creations. As a brand born along the Australian coastline, we understand the deep importance of respecting & preserving our surrounding environments.

Verdè creations have been consciously designed and made with love, devotion & attention to detail. The philosophy guiding Verdè is the creation of high quality swim & resort wear that causes no harm to our beautiful planet.

At Verde, all of our swim fabrics have been made from recycled content. This includes our custom printed fabrics and linings.

ECONYL

ECONYL® is a luxurious, Italian fabric which has been crafted from regenerated nylon fibres that would otherwise be polluting the environment. The production of ECONYL diverts the many detrimental aspects of nylon production, therefore reducing the global warming impact of nylon by 90%.

REPREVE

Repreve is one of the most certified, earth-friendly fibres available in the world. Made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, our use of REPREVE® gives new life to plastic waste that would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean, emits reduced greenhouse gases and conserves energy and water in the process.

LINING

What's on the inside matters. As the lining makes up 50% of our swimwear pieces, we are conscious that this is also crafted from our recycled materials. We use the same material on the inside that's on the outside.

WEAR & CARE

All Verdè pieces have been designed & made to last. It is crucial to follow the care instructions provided with each piece to ensure they last for many summers to come. Taking care of your swimwear will extend their life, whilst minimising our environmental footprint.

PACKAGING

Our sustainability standards don’t stop with the creation of our swimwear. It is very important to us that all of our packaging is 100% recyclable throughout all stages of production & dispatch. Each order is packaged in one of our reusable netted bags, which help store & protect the garment and is then wrapt in our recycled paper. We use eco-mailers made from ocean bound plastic pollution rescued from coastal communities.
